About us
FRANKCAS specifies, supplies and commissions wireless lighting control for commercial buildings — and then builds the software that makes it manageable afterwards.
Lighting control gets specified, installed, and then quietly abandoned. The commissioning engineer leaves with the knowledge. The scenes drift. The emergency test log stops being filled in. Two years later the building is running at full output all night and nobody can say what the system was supposed to do.
We build around that failure rather than around the product sheet. Wireless mesh so it can be installed and changed without rewiring. Open gateways so it is not an island. And a platform — FRANKCAS X2 — that keeps the system legible to whoever inherits the building.

Casambi and Tridonic hardware from stock, with the datasheets and fixture profiles you need for approval.
On-site addressing, grouping, floor plan placement, scenes, schedules and emergency test setup — documented as we go.
X2 licences, remote diagnostics, firmware updates and a maintenance forecast so replacement is planned, not reactive.
Credentials
FRANKCAS is Frank Vlcek and Zuzana Vlcekova. We both hold Casambi's Commissioning Competence Certification (4C) — the highest certification Casambi issues — and we are both qualified by Tridonic on sceneCOM evo commissioning and maintenance.
Frank was certified in January 2020 as certificate number 142, among the first 150 engineers worldwide. Zuzana recertified in March 2026 on the current application and firmware. FRANKCAS is also an official sales partner for Casambi and Tridonic.
Ecosystems
Casambi for wireless mesh control. Tridonic for DALI-2 sensing, application control and environmental measurement. Gateways into KNX, BACnet/IP, MQTT and ArtNet where the building already has a system worth talking to.
Bluetooth mesh control for luminaires, drivers, relays, switches and lamps. Self-forming networks of up to 250 nodes, commissioned from a phone, with long-range support.
